About QFFJLM
The motivation to establish QFF came from the lack of cultural events that emphasize real queer representation and give deserved attention to silenced communities - like the Trans*-Queer spectrum, Mizrahi women, The periphery, and Palestinian creators. Out of the fear of being left alone,
a shared and inclusive space arose.
⚧

In our last edition, the festival has hosted 3 internationally awarded & recognized feature films and 26 short films, from Israel, Palestine and abroad, most of them created by promising young filmmakers - amongst them are winners and participants from Sundance, Berlin International Film Festival, Tribeca, TIFF
and many more!
QFF - BIGGER, LOUDER, QUEERER!
In our last edition the festival’s reach & capacity was bigger than ever! with over 350 guests hosted in a brand new auditorium, operated by Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design.
This year, we plan to host even more feature films, support students, offer lectures, artist Q&As and represent the queer creative community better.
